Himani, Prachi to make an entry in Vishkanya

Vishkanya, the modern-day fairytale romance has introduced two new entries to spice up the track. Himani Shivpuri and newbie Prachi Sinha have been roped in to play a mother-daughter duo in the show. The duo, who will make an entry as the guests of the Mittal family, will play and influence Malay Mittal’s character immensely.

Talking about her character, actress Himani shares, “My character, Renu, is an extremely jovial person. The mother and daughter share everything with each other but there is one secret. Renu has hidden from her daughter that she is an adopted child. She fears the repercussions it will have if the secret is ever made public.”

Prachi, who is making her big debut on television with Vishkanya added, “I am really excited to play Himaniji’s daughter in the show. My character is a complete chatterbox and full of life. Though she is a confident girl, she goes totally weak in the knees whenever she sees Malay. It’s an honour to share screen space with industry veterans like Himaniji and Rohini Bannerjee.”
