Chhavvi Pandey injured in a freak accident

In a bizarre accident, a light rod fell on leading lady Chhavvi Pandey’s head on the sets of Silsila Pyaar Ka, injuring her severely. The actress suffered a blackout due to the impact. A doctor was called immediately to attend to her. According to the sources from the set, the incident took place while Chhavvi was engrossed in a shot. She was administered medication and was advised rest for three to four hours. The shoot came to a halt post the incident.

She has gone back to shooting now, even as the pain continues. Speaking of the incident Chhavvi says, “I was doing a scene when all of a sudden the light rod fell on my head and I blacked out. Usually such mishaps don’t happen, so nobody was prepared for it. The shoot had to be stopped. It’s an internal injury and there is a swelling on my head. I can’t even wear my wig because of the pain. The doctor has asked me to go for a scan but I am not able to take time off because of the telecast issue. The production house took good care of me. Their affection and warmth is giving me strength to fight the pain.”
