Microsoft launched its first Windows 10 handsets, Lumia 950 Dual SIM and Lumia 950 XL Dual SIM today priced at Rs 43,699 and Rs 49,399 respectively.

The Microsoft Display Dock, which has been launched at Rs 5,999, will be bundled free with both phones while stocks last. Pre-orders for the new phones start today, and they will go on sale starting December 11. Lumia 950 includes a 5.2-inch display and a hexacore processor, while the larger Lumia 950 XL has a 5.7-inch display with an octacore chip. Both Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL sport 1440x2560p resolution, which pack four times the number of pixels compared to a HD panel.

Lumia’s new series comes with an optional dock allowing users to use their phone like a PC by connecting it to a monitor and transforming it for larger-screen entertainment, or adding a keyboard and mouse to work like a PC with Windows 10 apps like Microsoft Office, while simultaneously taking calls or performing other tasks

Integrated with Cortana, the new Lumia phones offer organised assistance to work across entire Windows 10 device family by giving news updates, calendar reminders, messages, appointments and flight information.

The new phones will be available for pre-booking at Microsoft Priority resellers across the country, Microsoft Store on Amazon.in and retail chains of Croma, Reliance and Sangeetha.
