The Galaxy J series is company’s affordable range of Android smartphones. While the high-end smartphones attract more attention, the low-end phones are vital for phonemakers such as Samsung, Nokia and Motorola. The J series is an ideal smartphone that can run the Android Go software.
Samsung launched its Galaxy J3 (2017) in May this year. The new J3 gives an indication of the J series' low price: $180, or about £140 and AU$241, converted.
As per the specifications, the J3 sports a 5-inch HD display and comes equipped with a 5MP rear camera. It draws power from a 2,600mAh battery.
