The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge came out in 2016 as the South Korean giant’s flagship offering.

If you are tired of the usual array of flagship killers such as the OnePlus 5T and Honor View 10, the S7 Edge should be a breath of fresh air with its flagship-class offerings for a relatively affordable price.

Samsung is gearing up to unveil their next generation Galaxy S-series flagship device at the MWC 2018 — the Galaxy S9 series. However, Samsung India is making sure that its flagships from yesteryears should also become more affordable, which is why the company has slashed the price of the Galaxy S7 Edge down to Rs 35,900, making the smartphone more tempting.

The Galaxy S7 Edge can now be bought for a price as low as Rs 35,900. This, however, is the price of the base 32GB variant, which was initially priced at Rs 41,900. The spacious 128GB variant of the S7 Edge has also received a price cut of up to Rs 37,900, which makes this variant a more sensible choice considering the jump from 32GB to 128GB costs an additional Rs 2,000. If you want an additional Rs 5,000 cashback, you can pay the amount through Paytm at an offline store near you.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge came out in 2016 as the South Korean giant’s flagship offering. Therefore, it’s internals can still deliver some punch, considering the world getting ready for the Galaxy S9. The S7 Edge sports a 5.5-inch QHD SuperAMOLED display with curved edges, which still can be counted as one of the best smartphone displays in the market. The Indian variant is powered by Samsung’s homegrown Exynos 8890 chipset accompanied by 4GB of RAM and an expandable storage of up to 256GB. The smartphone came out with Android Marshmallow based Samsung’s custom UI on top, but now has been bumped up to Android 7.0 Nougat and is expected to receive the Android Oreo update in the coming months as well. It sports a 12MP dual pixel rear camera with an aperture of f/1.7 along with OIS and a 5MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/1.7. It’s powered by a 3600mAh battery.

If you are tired of the usual array of flagship killers such as the OnePlus 5T and Honor View 10, the S7 Edge should be a breath of fresh air with its flagship-class offerings for a relatively affordable price.
