Honor 10 Lite launch today, what to expect

At an event in Delhi, Honor is getting to unveil its first handset of the 2019 calendar year. The event will be centred around the launch of the Honor 10 Lite, the mid-range marvel that will come loaded with a dewdrop notch, minimal bezels on a 6.2-inch display as well a 24MP AI camera.

The Honor 10 Lite launch is expected to start at 12 PM, IST and will make its way on to Flipkart as an exclusive. Once launched, the handset will be available in two configurations 4GB and 6GB of RAM paired with 64GB of onboard storage. The Honor 10 Lite to come with an impressive 24MP AI selfie camera, scene detection technology powered by AI on both rear and front cameras, Kirin 710 processor with 12nm process technology, Dewdrop Display, first Honor phone to run in India with Intelligent EMUI 9.0 on top of Android 9 Pie out of the box and 3,400 mAh battery. This is the first time Honor is ditching the traditional wide-notch design for a smaller dewdrop display with an impressive over 91% screen-to-body ratio.

The Honor 10 Lite is the successor of the Honor 9 lite that was launched in India earlier in the year 2018. Honor has sold more than 1.5 million Honor 9 Lite devices so far.

As of yet, prices for the Honor 10 Lite have not been revealed but the expected price should range from Rs 12,000 to Rs 14,000 for the base version. The 6GB variant will be sold at a higher price range and it’s expected to cost above Rs 15,000.
