OPPO has unveiled a new smartphone named OPPO A7X in China, that sports a waterdrop display notch and has a 90.8 per cent screen-to-body ratio.

The smartphone features a 6.3-inch notched 19:5:9 display. At its core, the handset runs a MediaTek Helio P60 chipset coupled with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which is further expandable via a microSD card. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box with the ColorOS 5.2 skin on top.

There is a dual rear camera set up — one with a 12MP primary sensor paired and another with an 8MP secondary sensor. For selfies, there is an 8MP sensor. Additionally, both the cameras come with AI capabilities. On the connectivity front, the handset includes Bluetooth 4.2, 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, A-GPS and a micro-USB port. The OPPO A7X comes in two colour variants – Star Purple and Ice Flame Blue. It is priced at CNY 2,099 (approx Rs 20,000).
