The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 has launched and it checked all the right boxes in areas where it matters the most.

A few reasons why the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is the handset to beat.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 has finally been announced and the South Korean tech giant couldn’t have hoped for a better response. Journalists the world over are absolutely enthralled with the handset and they have laid down the gauntlet for its rivals to play catch-up. The Huawei Mate 30 Pro will be the next flagship that will come with super-sized specifications and it has a lot to prove to best these four Galaxy Note 10 features.

Centrally-aligned hole-punch camera

With the Galaxy S10, Samsung introduced the hole-punch display that featured a camera cut-out. The Galaxy Note 10 improves upon that design by adding a tiny cut-out at the top centre of the display and in the process making the already gorgeous smartphone all the more pleasing. While this isn’t as neat as OnePlus’ pop-up selfie camera on the 7 Pro, it is a step in the right direction. For its future devices, hopefully, Samsung will remove the cut-out altogether and fit the camera under the display.

45W fast charging

Samsung has added marginally larger capacity batteries here and also topped it off by giving it super-fast charging capabilities. While you don’t get a 45W charger, you can purchase an aftermarket adapter that will allow you to get a day’s worth of use on a just a 30-minute charge. The charger that comes bundled with it is a 25W adapter, which is sufficient enough if you don’t need ultra-fast charging speeds.

S Pen enhancements

Like last year, Samsung has improved upon the functionality of the S Pen. The biggest upgrade here is the new air gesture feature that allows you to zoom into images or adjust the Note 10’s volume all without physically touching the display with the S Pen. These new features can be extremely handy for power users.

Exynos 9825 SoC

There has always been an argument that the Exynos chipset would get outperformed by its Qualcomm variant where battery life is concerned. Samsung now claims that they have fixed the issue with the newly launched Exynos 9825 chipset that’s said to be more power-efficient in comparison with the Exynos 9820 found on the Galaxy S10 handsets.
