As the Redmond giant conducts the final Bug Bash ahead of the public launch of the Windows 10 fall creators Update, the company is not looking to leave shipping out new features. This means the recently released build 16251 brings a lot of improvement in this regard.

Aimed at users in the Fast ring and insiders who have opted for the Skip Ahead feature, the build 16251 introduces the very first feature which lets the user link their phones to their computers.

As for the time being, this feature makes it possible to benefit from cross-device web-browsing for Android users. This meaning here is that there is another way of saying synchronization between phones and PCs. Microsoft has stated that iPhone support will be added in a future build.

Also, this build provides an option of getting web search results in Cortana without opening the browser. Cortana also supports new options to control PCs with commands like restart, turn off, sign out, and lock PC now available.

“When you log in and initiate a reboot or a shutdown through power options available on the Start Menu and various other locations, Windows will automatically setup your account after it has booted back up,” Microsoft says.
