Pokemon Go created ripples in the mobile gaming industry at the time of its launch and became one the most downloaded mobile game so far. Niantic celebrated the first anniversary of the game with the Pokemon Go Fest event in Chicago. Unfortunately, the idea of organising a fest backfired at the company.

The gaming servers apparently were not up to the mark, which basically ruined the gaming experience, while few users couldn’t take part. This made the attendees furious, resulting in an outrage. Niantic’s CEO was booed when took the stage to address the audience.
