PUBG Mobile celebrates the new year with in-game and physical rewards for all players.
Starting today, PUBG MOBILE introduce a series of spring festive celebrations in time for the new year. Now players around the world can enter the special in-game event “Prosperous Spring” and get the chance of winning in-game and physical rewards for free. The theme of the event is “Winner Winner Lucky Together”, wishing all the good luck to players in the new year.
The “Prosperous Spring” celebration kicks off with two main events, including:
Spring Party Lantern Exchange: winning the unique festive outfit in-game
From now until Thursday, Feb. 6, players can collect different materials throughout Classic Mode matches and assemble lanterns with. There is a total of four lantern phases to build, with each lantern requiring five separate unique materials to complete. Players are encouraged to work together to exchange materials and assemble all the lanterns to earn a rare permanent outfit.
Red Packet Drops: the chance of winning the Golden Helmet, Air pods, gift cards
For the first time, the luxurious Golden Helmet has arrived in game as the exclusive physical reward. Players can also have the chance to win Air Pods, Apple Store gift cards, Google Pay gift cards and other in-game rewards. Beginning Friday, Jan. 24 until Tuesday, Jan. 28, players will receive festive Red Packets from the PUBG MOBILE main menu as special gifts to celebrate the new year. Players can open their Red Packets to receive the rewards accordingly.
More Special Celebrations
In addition to the two main festive events, PUBG MOBILE players can participate in two additional events with in-game rewards as well:
- Prosperous Spring Login Rewards: From now until Thursday, Jan. 30, players can collect Rat Costume by cumulative login.
- New Year's Eve Pack: From Thursday, Jan. 23 to Friday, Jan. 24, players can log in to collect the special Rat Year Package.
The Spring Festival Events was introduced post the India centric, Makar Sankranti event. During this period, the players could indulge in a mini game, where kites were placed at the starting point. Each day, by completing missions, Players can get three Dice and roll it. Basis on the number rolled, a kite could be moved along the map to ultimately reach a designated spot to win rewards. Players could also fetch more dice by purchasing it and reach the top of the map to get the ultimate Anarkali Set Reward. The Makar Sankranti event has been extended till 25th Jan 2020, due to enormous interest by Indian PUBG MOBILE players. Apart from the in-game events PUBG MOBILE will also be releasing exclusive wallpapers for their community through their official Instagram handles.
