According to a recent study, smartphone and TV brand Xiaomi has emerged as the name with the largest exclusive retail network in India. Retail and channel solution provider firm Channelplay said in its study that the brand has overtaken large retail chains like Cafe Coffee Day, Dominos India and Bata India, with a queue of 2,500 stores in India.
Xiaomi has a whole portfolio of 2,500 Mi Stores, 75 Mi Home and 20 Mi Studios and moreover, these are present across 790 cities, even reaching non-metro cities.
Also a retail measurement firm, it conducts approximately 25,000 and more surveys per month to carry out its functions as mentioned on its website.
Earlier this year, Counterpoint Research Market Monitor for Q1 2019 showed that Xiaomi's website became the top single brand online smartphone channel. Thus, with Channelplay’s validation for Xiaomi’s offline retail network - this declares Xiaomi's presence as a single-brand retail network across the online and offline market in India quite significant.
