Xiaomi is all set to unveil its first Mi Home store in India. The company has sent out media invites for an event in Bangaluru on May 11. Bangaluru will be the first city to get the Mi Home store, but the company is expected expand to other cities in the future.
The Home Store will sell accessories and products like power banks, headphones, Mi Band, Mi Air Purifier, and more. It still unclear whether the company will start selling its smartphone immediately from the Mi Home store. The company uses online channels to sell its phones outside China.
According to a research from Strategy Analytics, Xiaomi is now apparently ranked as the most preferred smartphone brand for Indian Android users looking to upgrade their smartphones in 2017. Xiaomi is followed by Samsung and Apple as the most preferred smartphone brands.
