Fujifilm has launched its new analog instant camera ‘instax SQUARE SQ6’ as a new addition to the Instax series of instant camera lineup, which allows users to get on-the-spot photo printing. The Instax SQ6 is compatible with square format films and features various shooting functions.

The Instax SQUARE SQ6 has an automatic exposure adjustment feature, which gets activated when the shutter button is pressed. It detects the ambient brightness and adjusts to provide the optimum shutter speed and flash light intensity.

Targeted for selfie enthusiasts, the camera comes with a selfie mode that automatically adjusts brightness and focal length for capturing selfie images. The self-shot mirror attached to the side of the lens allows the user to check the shooting range.

As for the specifications, the Instax camera is equipped with built-in Fujinon 65.75mm f/12.6 lens and has an Inverted Galilean finder. It features a programmed electronic shutter release with a time frame of 1.6 sec - 1/400 sec. The film developing time on the Instax camera is approximately 90 seconds (varies depending on the ambient temperature). The Instax camera is powered by two CR2/DL CR2 lithium batteries.

The camera also comes equipped with tripod holes, at the bottom of the unit and a timer that can be used for taking group photos.

Furthermore, the camera has three modes – the “Double Exposure Mode” that promises to allow two photos to be overlapped on a single film when the shutter button is pressed twice, the “Macro Mode” to take short-range photos up to a minimum of 30cm, and the “Landscape Mode” for long-range landscape photos. It also includes three flash colour filters (orange/purple/green) that once placed over the flash will change the colour of the overall photo, allowing the user to achieve a textured photo.

The Fujifilm Instax SQUARE SQ6 instant camera is priced at Rs 9,999 and features in Pearl White, Blush Gold and Graphite Gray variants.
