Microsoft unveils Xbox One X in India

Microsoft launches the Xbox One X in India, the console to bring 4K gaming and 4K entertainment to local gamers. The One X will be available for purchase online in India on the Microsoft India store, Amazon and Flipkart. Consumers can also buy the Xbox One X from Landmark and Croma retail stores.

Xbox One X is Microsoft’s 4K gaming console with 4K streaming capabilities. The device has a built-in 4K Blu-ray player, an HDMI port and supports HDR10. One X is equipped 2.3GHz 8-core AMD Jaguar CPU and 6.0 TFLOP AMD Radeon GPU. It also sports 1TB of HDD internal storage and 12GB of GDRR5. One X also features 3-USB ports, dual-band Wi-Fi, IR blaster and supports Dolby Atmos as well.

The Xbox One X games have been updated with 80 new and existing games, and also has backward compatibility with Xbox and Xbox 360 games. And, all Xbox One accessories are also compatible across the Xbox family. Microsoft also introduces Xbox Game Pass, a monthly membership that provides unlimited access to more than 100 games.

The device will also be available for purchase from over 100 gaming speciality stores in India. The Xbox One is priced at Rs 44,990.
