BenQ launches EL2870U 4K UHD monitor for Rs 35,000
The EL2870U is the first 4K UHD monitor with 1ms response time designed specifically for eye-care.
BenQ has been one of the top display manufacturers and they keep on outing products with some impressive features. The brand has just announced the launch of the EL2870U 4K UHD monitor with a 1ms response time designed specifically for eye-care. This monitor is already available in the market and it is priced at Rs 35,000. It features HDR technology to increase the overall dynamic range between true black and bright white to duplicate what your eyes see in the world.
BenQ claims that with the 4K Ultra HD resolution, users will experience clarity of details and due to a larger screen real-estate, it is easier to carry out visual-intensive work. The display features a 1ms Gray-to-Gray (GTG) response time along with HDR that provides a responsive in-game experience. BenQ states that because of this feature, it provides a better experience than that found on traditional 4K TVs. The 1ms GTG response eliminates motion smear for smooth video and gaming. Fast-moving action and dramatic transitions render without lag or ghosting.
BenQ states that in order to view HDR content, you should use the provided HDMI cable, a high-speed HDMI cable, or premium high-speed HDMI certified cable. The displays HDR function supports HDR 10 content. Also, for Non-HDR content, you can also activate the HDR mode. The EL2870U will provide emulated HDR performance for a better viewing experience.
Additionally, the EL2870U features AMD FreeSync technology which eliminates image tearing, broken frames, and choppy gameplay for a smooth gaming experience. BenQ's Brightness Intelligence Plus (B.I.+) technology in the EL2870U detects ambient brightness and colour temperature to adjust display settings to deliver balanced brightness and colour temperature to match the environment. B.I.+ technology adjusts the brightness of the monitor to avoid overexposure and enhance details in dark areas.
The monitor is also equipped with eye-care technologies to reduce eye fatigue during extended use. The adjusted brightness and colour tone can also help reduce eyestrain.
