Samsung’s The Frame QLED TV, a revolutionary lifestyle TV, which was offered on Flipkart during the Big Billion Days Sale at an attractive price of Rs 84,999, has been sold out before the end of the sale period. Samsung expects to take its market share in the 55-inch and above QLED TV segment from of 49 per cent to 60 per cent by the end of the current festival season, aided by success of The Frame QLED TV and other festive offers on QLED TVs in the offline retail space. This festive season, Samsung expects to sell 3 times more QLED TVs in the 55-inch and above category than last festive season.

Over the last one year, Samsung has seen a 64 per cent growth in the 55-inch and above TV segment. This trend of consumers upsizing to larger TV’s isn’t only limited to the big cities. Samsung has seen faster growth in the 55 inch and above TV segment in smaller towns. While metros and tier-I towns have seen a growth of 40 per cent in this segment, smaller towns have seen a growth of 55 per cent in this segment over the last one year.
