Maanav Shah, top-seeded both in the  junior as well as  sub-junior boys singles, had a mixed day.

Hiya thrashed Arya Ghag 11-5, 11-5, 11-6 in the junior girls  singles final,  but had to put up a terrific fight to get the better of Vidi P. Shah before winning 9-11, 11-6, 11-6, 11-9 for the sub-junior title.

Hiya Mehta, seeded second in the junior girls  singles and top-seeded in the sub-junior section, triumphed in both on the final day of the Poinsur Gymkhana’s Promotional table tennis tournament, held under their annual ‘Uttar Mumbai Krida Mahotsav-2017’, at their complex in Kandivali.

However, Maanav Shah, top-seeded both in the  junior as well as  sub-junior boys singles, had a mixed day. He beat Shubham Samant  11-9, 11-6, 7-11, 11-6 in the junior singles, but was beaten by Sagar Kasture 6-11, 11-8, 11-9, 11-5  in the sub-junior final.
