Maryland United SC worked hard to clinch a hard-fought 1-0 win against Fire Dragons SC in a Round-3 match of the second Borivali Premier Football League (BPFL) at the St. Francis D’Assisi Ground, Borivali on Wednesday.
The hero of United’s solitary goal victory was Oneil D’Souza, who scored the all-important winner early in the second half to help his team collect the full three points. The Big Boss Player of the Match award went to Vicky Shah of Fire Dragons.
