St. Augustine girls lift NMASA u-16 football title

St. Augustine High School, Nerul defeated Christ Academy, Koparkhairane 3-0 in the final of the Navi Mumbai Area School Association (NMASA) inter-school under-16 girls football tournament at the Fr. Agnel Multipurpose Sports Complex in Vashi. For the winners, Shruti Ravaria found the back of the net twice, while Mahek Kala scored once.

Earlier in the semis, the Nerul-based eves had knocked off one of the strong favourites Ryan International School, Kharghar in the semi-finals by a margin of 2-0. Ankita Rawat and Gauri Gavilkar scored for St. Augustine.
