Rangers, Village Boys share spoils in 2-2 draw
Striker Uzaib Siddiqui scored both the goals for Rangers, while Aditya Pal also netted a brace for the Village Boys.
Mumbai: Junior Kalina Rangers and Kalina Village Boys were engaged in an exciting 2-2 draw in a Boy’s Under-16 league match of the 17th Kalina Football League 2017. The event is being organised by the Our Lady of Egypt Church Sports Committee and played at the Our Lady of Egypt Church grounds, Kalina. Striker Uzaib Siddiqui scored both the goals for Rangers, while Aditya Pal also netted a brace for the Village Boys.
In the second match, Bevan Galbano struck the all-important winning goal to enable Inspiring Humanity to a narrow 1-0 win against Farm House Sports Club.

Our Lady of Lourdes, Orlem 6 (Sydney Mascarenhas 2, Jude Mathias 1, Ryan D’souza 1, Prakash Aranya 1, Peter Kurian 1) beat Mount Carmel, Bandra 5 (Ranzie Kalicharan 1, Atul Fernandes 1, Ajay Bose 1, Stanley Fernandes 1, Clarie Remedios 1) via the tie-breaker. Full time – 2-2.
Our Lady of Fatima, Ambernath 2 (Irfan 1, Nandu 1) beat Our Lady of Lourdes, Orlem 1 (Martin D’Silva 1).
