T10 Cricket League India launched in Mumbai

The franchise-based league will comprise of eight teams with non first class cricketers from across the country.

More than one thousand boys from Maharashtra turned up for the trials of Season One of the T10 Cricket League™, India at the Central Maidan in Thane this weekend. The franchise-based league will comprise of eight teams with non first class cricketers from across the country.

Two groups will be formed. Group A will include teams from Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan while Group B will see teams from Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka battling it out in the 16 -25 age group category.

According to format of the league, each team will play the other twice within their group, with the top two teams from each group qualifying for the semi-finals followed by the final. The matches are likely to be telecast on a prominent sports channel, with whom talks are underway. The matches will be played with coloured clothing and white balls. There is no entry fees and team kits would be provided to each team by the league/ franchisee.The Cricket Ka Naya Toofani Andaaz-T10 Cricket League™ India is a derivative of T10 Gully Cricket founded by Wadhwa brothers  in 2009.
