Tamil actor Vikram’s daughter to wed Karunanidhi’s great grandson

Kollywood will witness yet another big fat wedding soon. Yes, top south actor Chiyaan Vikram’s daughter Akshita is all set to get engaged to Manu Ranjith, son of the Ranganathan family of Cavin Kare’s Bakery fame.

Close sources confirm that the family is busy with the arrangement of the engagement that is to take place at a star hotel in the city. The source also adds that the ceremony will be a private and low-key affair with close family members and friends attending the event. The wedding is scheduled for next year.

Reportedly, the engagement will be held on July 10. Manu Ranjith is the great grandson of DMK supremo M Karunanidhi.

It was also learnt that the couple have been in a relationship for a while and were waiting for the consent of both families to tie the knot. The National Award winner who is presently busy with Iru Mugan’s final schedule is expected to take a break for the family function.
