Shoe me your style
Where there are pretty shoes, there are lovely ladies. So the capital’s prim and propah socialites strutted in their killer heels for a preview of My Salvatore collection by Salvatore Ferragamo. The evening hosted by Prasanna Bhaskar of Salvatore kicked off on time and saw models showcase the latest trends in shoes for the coming season.
Leggy lass Deepika Padukone sashayed down the runway and made an exit soon after a quick photo-op with the overzealous shutterbugs.
We chatted up with Vidushi Mehra, standing tall in her five-inch heels, whose ubiquitous presence in Delhi’s social circles is hard to miss. Well, for beginners, she recently made her debut on the big screen in Aisha, where she played Aisha’s elder sis. She reveals, “I have been doing theatre since I was four. I have done many musicals with my mentor Lushin Dubey. Then I got involved with my banking career. But now I think it is time I chase my passion.” Next Vidushi will be seen in No One Killed Jessica. “You will see me as one of Vidya’s confidantes in the film,” she chuckles.

Shera gets tattooed
Delhi’s sarkar may not yet be ready for Commonwealth Games, but some Delhiites are. Many socialites from the capital came together recently at Freeze Lounge to cheer the games. And nothing could have been better than getting the mascot Shera’s image tattooed to rev-up the CWG spirit . Even DJ Barkha Kaul and fashion designer Pawan Sachdeva got the mascot tattoo done.
