Artists from around the capital gathered in large numbers for the preview of The Contemporary Sultanat, an exhibition hosted by Rasika and Chetan Kajaria of Exhibit 320 at the Olive. This group show of paintings, sculptures and installations was curated by Veeranganakumari Solanki. The preview bash was flagged off by an inaugural cocktail party. Among those spotted were artists Promila Bahri, Manjunath Kamath, Swapnil Khullar, G R Iranna, Pooja Iranna, Veerangana Solanki, Subodh Gupta, Gigi Scaria.

Starry delight
Party lovers were witness to a starry affair at the launch party of Rara Avis in GK-II. Adding the glam quotient at the do were bollywood stars Suniel Shetty and Sudesh Berry. Rare speciaties in Italian and European cuisine had the guests asking for more. We spotted many enjoying wood-fired pizzas. Flavoured hookahs kept in the open space were a hit. Said Kiran Walia, “I look forward to such parties where I can meet like-minded people. Also, I am fond of Italian food, so this is a great opportunity to taste Italian culinary delights.”
