Party lovers in the city had a gala time when Spoons, a bistro lounge opened its doors and designer Jattinn Kochhar celebrated his 40th birthday. The joint bash saw the guests grpoving to the tunes of retro numbers.
“Life begins at 40 and I look forward to many more birthday celebrations with friends and family,” says Kochhar. Designer Monisha Bajaj, who was one of the guests to arrive early felt that Kochhar chose the right day for celebration. “January 26 is a dry day. Great that he invited us over a weekend,” she chuckled.
The guests also enjoyed lip-smacking starters like crispy calamari and prawns served with several tangy dips. And stuffed cigar roll was heavenly for the vegetarians.
