Ali is the founder of children's respite care charity Ruddi's Retreat and is being recognised for her work, She founded the charity after Ruddi was diagnosed with the disease and just six months old.

I was filming him on my phone and he came running towards me and accidentally bust my lip," Ali told the Huddersfield Daily Examiner.
