The Santa Cruz police have arrested four people and are on the lookout for another for allegedly killing two persons. The accused first fired at and then attacked with choppers two site supervisors after barging into the office of an under-construction site belonging to Deewan real estate developers. The arrested accused have been identified as Mohsin Yasin Behlim (36), a resident of Daulatnagar in Santa Cruz, Sachin Sitaram Pawar (34), a resident of Shastri Nagar, Sonu Datta Hazare alias Arbaaz (19) and Sanjog Suresh Tinghute (21), residents of Mulund. Of them, Mohsin was serving a life sentence for murder and was out on parole and Sachin was out on bail after being arrested for robbing a petrol pump.

The incident occurred around 5 pm on Wednesday at the under-construction site of Deewan builder at Daulat Nagar. The deceased have been identified as Nadeem Khatri and Ghulam Ahmed Abbas Ali alias Babubhai. The deceased and the accused knew each other for the past eight years and allegedly did not get along. According to the Santa Cruz police, Mohsin and Sachin were the masterminds of the plan. “Khatri and Babubhai knew Mohsin and Sachin and they were sworn enemies. They used to work together eight years earlier at the same builder’s office and were construction site managers,” said a senior officer from the Santa Cruz police station.

Investigators revealed that they had filed numerous NCs against each other at various police stations.
