London chaat show

Our beliefs separate us from the crowd
Q.I am a 15-year-old girl from Pune. My friends and my family are completely different and I find it very difficult to understand who I should be like. My parents are religious and have certain ideas of how one should be, whereas my friends are all about being modern and open-minded. I feel lost and this affects my studies and everything else.

Trees are teachers
There is here’s nothing like sitting under a huge tree with a spreading, protective canopy on a hot summer’s day for some respite from the heat. Apart from the shade that it provides, the energy that it exudes is unbelievable. The next time you find life getting a bit too overwhelming, try walking through a densely wooded park and you will find this exercise very calming and healing. Trees incidentally have played an important part in spirituality too!
Insecurities always thwart ambitions
This is the story of a young troubled girl who still shies away from confronting life. Sometimes, it is life itself that makes you hide from it. To protect her identity, let’s call her Meghna.
Real power is ‘You over You’

Sporting courage in battle of life
I was barely 14 months old when I was afflicted by polio. I was disabled below the neck and for two years after that my mother carried me on her shoulder to the hospital everyday for shock treatment. The treatment brought some life into my body, at least below the waist.
