The police had summoned the actor on Saturday regarding a case of molestation filed against him by a model in February.
Mumbai: Television actor Parth Samthaan, who has been accused of molestation by a model, said he has submitted his call recordings and conversations with the complainant model to the police. This comes after the Bangur Nagar police had summoned Samthaan on Saturday regarding a case of molestation filed against him by a model in February. Samthaan has termed the allegations as baseless.
According to sources attached to Bangur Nagar police station, the actor handed over the Whatsapp conversations and call recordings on Saturday that took place between the complainant model and him. He gave these evidences as a proof of his innocence, when he had come to record his statement on summoned by the police. The actor had also alleged that he had no role to play in this matter, and that it was a ploy laid against him by the complainant model and Vikas Gupta.
Mr Samthaan said, “The allegations pitted against me are false and baseless. This is a plot laid by Vikas Gupta and the model. I have given all my call recordings and Whatsapp conversations that I had with her, and have given my statement to the police.”
Santosh Bhandare, senior police inspector of Bangur Nagar police station, confirmed the incident and said, “A notice has been issued to Parth Samthaan and he has been asked to co-operate during the investigation.”
