Congress to launch Jan Sangharsh Yatra from 31st

Mumbai: The Congress will launch a ‘Jan Sangharsh Yatra’ to bring the failures of the current government to the attention of the people, according to Ashok Chavan, the president of the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee.

According to him, in the first phase of the yatra, Congress leaders will reach out to people in western Maharashtra, starting with Kolhapur on August 31 and end in Pune on September 7-8.

He said, “All state level leaders will interact with people from all constituencies about failures of BJP.” He said, “National leaders including Malikarjuna Kharge are expected to come to the yatra.”
