Two arrested with 46 LSD dots worth Rs 2.3 lakh

Mumbai: Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) officers arrested two persons and seized 46 dots of banned chemical drug Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD) worth Rs 2.3 lakh
from them.

The dots were brought from Nepal to Mumbai. The ANC said that the accused had purchased 60 LSD dots from an American national for Rs 3 lakh after coming in contact with him via a social networking website. A team headed by senior inspector Sunil Mane and officer Ahire nabbed the accused from Kandharpada in Dahisar.

The accused were identified as Samson Rozario (30) and Rohal Owal (26), both residents of Mira Road. While Rozario runs real estate business of his father, Owal is enrolled for International Air Tourism Association  course and worked part time at Rozario’s agency, officials said.

“We have arrested the accused and are questioning them,” said Shivdeep Lande, deputy commissioner of police, ANC.
