It was also learnt that the party’s state unit has failed to capitalise on the issues on chit fund and recent violence in Bhangar and put the pressure on the state government.

Party sources also revealed that recently the state leadership had complained to the central leadership about the denial of permission to hold public meetings and rallies across the state by the Mamata Banerjee government. A report was submitted to the central leadership in this regard.

“If the state government continues to deny us permission to organise rallies and meetings then we will no longer wait for the official confirmation. We have to now speak in a language which the government understands.
