Noida: Four men put a gun onto the head of the driver of a Lucknow-based hotel owner and fled with the car in Noida, a police official said on Thursday.
They kicked the driver out of the vehicle in Delhi on Wednesday night, Station House Officer of the Sector 20 police station, Anil Kumar Shahi, said.
Shahi said the vehicle - a Honda City - was owned by Sandeep Ahuja, a hotel owner and resident of Lucknow.
"On the basis of the information given by the car owner, we have launched a hunt to trace the vehicle and arrest the men involved. The driver has been called to get more details," he said.
The incident happened after the driver dropped the Ahuja family near the DLF mall in Noida on Wednesday night and was waiting for them to return from the wedding.
The driver was employed by the Ahujas for 10 years.
