New Delhi: Leader of the Opposition Vijendra Gupta was marshalled out of the Delhi Assembly during the special one-day session on Tuesday. Following the tumultuous start to the day, Mr Gupta levelled fresh salvo against the CM Arvind Kejriwal and heath minister Satyendar Jain in the alleged land deals.

The leader sat on a dharna in the Assembly premises after being suspended for a day and demanded that both Mr Kejriwal and Mr Jain be jailed.

The BJP said it will lodge a complaint with the Election Commission for the AAP’s alleged involvement in corruption and seek its derecognition. Earlier in the house, the BJP tried moving an adjournment motion.

The AAP MLAs weren’t interested in discussing corruption charges on Mr Kejriwal, Mr Gupta said, claiming that the issue of electronic voting machine (EVM) being raised by AAP is its “diversionary” tactics. The BJP leader also questioned why Mr Kejriwal was not taking any action against Mr Jain.
