January is finally over and with that, so are the raging parties and holidays packed with socialising with friends and family. It’s a well known fact that introverts enjoy their solitude and the serenity of nature. February is the ideal time to get out and travel to destinations that let you relax without the hullabaloo one has come to expect of new year getaways. Here’s our go-to list of holidays you can plan now!

Iceland
How could we talk about travel for introverts and not mention Iceland, which is famous for its remote locales that aren't visited very often. There's a lot that you can see here, including geothermal spas and waterfalls. Apparently, Iceland has a website dedicated solely to the introverted, so we know they're welcoming and understanding. The most famous places to visit would be the Blue Lagoon and Geysir Hot Springs. We promise you a vacation like no other!

Glastonbury, England
Now here's something we've never heard of before — an introvert's retreat by introverts! The Sacred Introvert Retreat takes you on a tour of Glastonbury and the Great Kingdom of Wessex, always keeping in mind what introverts enjoy. You can visit the Stonehenge, Durrington Walls and more, along with taking part in yoga and meditation classes. Does it get any better than this?

The Galapagos Islands
These islands are home to a vast variety of flora and fauna, so you'll have cormorants, seals and iguanas to keep you company while you kick back. Moreover, the tour groups are only open to groups of two or maximum 20 people. Tourism does threaten to destroy this relatively untouched beauty but you can reduce your footprint by choosing a cruise with the Smart Voyager certification.

The Oregon Coast
Move away from beach partying in California and Florida and head to the Oregon Coast. The coast is home to mysterious and gorgeous beaches, which you can walk and admire. Take a book and some snacks along, and you have a great day right ahead of you! Even during the summers, the beach manages to keep it cool and with the cliffs and forests it houses, it is the perfect place for your next adventure.

Pontresina, Switzerland
Switzerland is best known for its skiing resorts, three of which are easily accessible from this quiet and beautiful little town. The snow and peace there could just make it the best winter getaway ever. If you're a more summer kind of person, you're in luck too! In the summers, Pontresina is dotted with wildflowers and offers up many trails for long treks.

Peruvian Andes
The Peruvian Andes offer just the right amount of exotic locales, adventure and relative isolation that an introvert needs to have fun. The surrounding mountains and the Sacred Valley provide for a lot of space to explore. You can head to the farmer's markets and witness artisans at work, or if you're up for something more adventurous, opportunities for rock climbing are a-plenty. Also, did we mention that the stars come out in full force here because of the lack of light pollution?
