According to major survey feeling stressed puts people off intimacy more than anything else.
According to a new research, it turns out that stress is the number one libido killer.
A MailOnline article says that a UK survey found that 45 per cent people report stress as the biggest problem in the bedroom.
Furthermore, a relationship expert claims feeling frazzled creates anxiety, which puts couples off intimacy.
According to the BBC Radio 5 Live survey, physical health has the second biggest impact on a person's sex life, with 32 per cent reporting it as a passion killer.
Following it is mental –health issues which affect 26 per cent of people’s libido and having children and work follow closely with 20 per cent and 18 per cent cases respectively.
Watching porn too has a negative effect on the sex lives of 12 per cent of those surveyed.
Surprisingly only 10 per cent highlight social media as being an issue.
Other family members, aside from children, affect the libidos of 10 per cent of those surveyed, while reality TV and friends are an issue for seven and five per cent, respectively.
Notably, 50 per cent of men surveyed were happy with their sex lives while 53 per cent women were happy with theirs.
58 per cent of the participants were happy with their performance between the sheets.
