This Valentine's Day women are asking me to be their valentine.

A challenge for the ladies was launched on Twitter just in time for the most romantic day on earth.

Now asking someone out on a date can be hard. But hey, nothing ventured nothing gained right?

So British relationship blogger named Oloni urged women around the world to ask their crush out for a romantic February 14 date and post the response online.

The idea came from wanting to give women a boost. “I came up with the idea [for the challenge] by thinking of ways I could push women to be more confident within themselves,” several media report quotes Oloni as saying.

Some brave ladies took up the challenge and were even more courageous for posting the brutal, awkward and downright embarrassing responses.

Here's what their crushes had to say.
