The internet has evidently transformed how people date opening up avenues for them to meet interesting individuals. The higher chances of meeting someone new have also led to changing attitudes when it comes to choosing partners.

Research has now found that women are actually pickier when it comes to men on dating sites. Women under 40 are more specific when they seek a partner while men become more particular as they age.

Women were found to be more focused on educational preferences when it came to finding love at a certain age. They looked for partners with the same educational qualifications as theirs or higher.

Researchers explained that women tend to see education as an indication for quality since it signifies social status and intelligence. But while women are pickier than men, online dating has made people less particular overall.
