Colour plays a major role in setting up a particular mood or state of mind and it does impact the human aura and, consequently, the human body. Over the centuries, many cultures around the world have incorporated the colours into their healing sessions. Even in today’s time, some spiritual healers often use chromotherapy for their healing work.

Below is a simple yet very powerful colour healing and meditation that helps to gain the benefits of colour healing therapy:

  • Find a place where there is no noise, sit comfortably on a chair or bed.
  • Close your eyes and slowly count slowly as you inhale.
  • Hold your breath till the count of 8.
  • Repeat these steps till your mind is in a tranquil state and think about the healing harmony of colours that you receive from the sun rays.
  • Now gently try to focus your mind on the third eye center, i.e. between the eyebrows. This is where the pituitary body is located that can enhance your sixth sense. Allow the colours flood the entire body and mind.
  • Repeat the exercise several times a day until you start to realise the auras.
