Baby elephant trying ti get up makes for adorable video
Shot right after birth, video shows mum trying to cajole new born into standing on own legs.
Baby animal videos make some of the best watch online. And when it is a toddler with a trunk who just can’t seem to stand up, it’s a gold mine for all the oohs and aaahs one can muster.
The video shows the baby trying desperately to get up while all the time falling right back, while the mum waits patiently by its side. But the determined little elephant will not give up and perseveres, repeatedly trying to find its feet.
The video, it turns out was shot moments after the calf was born, and it seems out baby elephant was in a hurry to start on his adventures in life.
With a little bit of help from mummy dearest and her trunk, the elephant managed to stand for seconds before it falls to the ground again.
The video was shot by photographer Grant Atkinson in Northern Botswana, moments after its birth.
The mum could be seen throwing dust on the baby and maybe trying to encourage it to stand up
The video has already been viewed over 16,000 times.
