Girl helps rickshaw puller years after his act of kindness

In today’s world filled with stories of hatred and negativity, it’s hard to find compassionate people who would selflessly come forward to help people. But an act of kindness can go a long way and often people struggling in life show willingness to make life better for others.

The touching story of a rickshaw puller shared on a Facebook page shows how being kind towards each other can lead to unexpected incidents in the future. The man narrates an incident when he saw a girl crying and got a rude reply when he tried helping her.

After a while he understood that the girl was supposed to elope with a boy who didn’t turn up and when the girl went to the railway line trying to harm herself, he couldn’t just ignore and paddle on anymore. All it took was talking and some insisting after which the girl asked him to drop her home.

Eight years later the rickshaw puller saw the girl again when he suffered injuries in an accident and was lying on a hospital bed. He couldn’t recognise the girl who referred to him as her father and said she wouldn’t be there if the rickshaw puller hadn’t helped.

The heart warming acknowledgement left the man overwhelmed as it showed how much one simple to help someone can do for the world.
