Female orgasm has been a topic that has been talked about for a while now and while there are some who know how to achieve it, there are many who don’t. The sexologist who discovered the g-spot in women recently in an interview gave interesting and educative inputs that would help women lead a healthier sex life.

According to a recent report in the Independent, Dr Beverly Whipple shared inputs on the female orgasm that would give women new insight into their bodies. Orgasms can can block pain and double a woman’s pain threshold. During birth the baby passes through the birth canal and past the g-spot which reduces the pain while giving birth. Women can get an orgasm by simply using their imagination and not touching themselves. Reaching an orgasm is possible from more ways than just clitoral or vaginal stimulation. Women can have ‘blended orgasms’ by stimulation of more than one place on the body through more than one nerve pathway.

Among the many tips, she highlights that sex doesn’t have to be ‘goal oriented’ and is a step process where even if partners are on the periphery by cuddling, kissing or holding hands, it serves the purpose. The purpose of sex does not always have to vaginal stimulation.
