Washington: An emotional Bollywood tearjerker can easily reduce audiences to tears even as a lot of people don’t like to admit crying in a movie while some others are trolled for coming out of the cinema hall in tears.

But it seems that there’s a reason to not stop your tears anymore and even go ahead and donate them, as researchers are actually making efforts to find a way for detecting and treating breast cancer.

A team of scientists went ahead and collected tears of movie goers in Auckland after they watched romantic drama ‘Brooklyn’. This was done in order to detect breast cancer within half an hour of testing these tears.

They said that this can be done through biomarkers present in tears which indicate breast cancer and all this is done by a painless process which can prove cheaper and faster than other options.
