Ida Yoana, a model and actress, shares her fave healthy recipe of a Chicken and Quinoa broth.

Chi-Qui broth


  • Pre-boiled shredded chicken 100 gm
  • Quinoa 50 gm (soaked for 30 minutes)
  • Carrot 1 piece
  • Yellow bell pepper- 1 piece
  • Celery leaves 2 sticks
  • Ghee 1 tbsp
  • Water a glass
  • Salt to taste


  • Heat ghee on medium–high heat, in a large pot and sauté diced vegetables (carrot, bell pepper and celery leaves with the stalk) until they become soft.
  • Add in a glass of water and the soaked quinoa.
  • Partially cover the pot, and bring it to simmer, then reduce heat to medium and cook until the quinoa starts to soften — for about 12 minutes.
  • Add in cooked chicken and stir slowly. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Ladle the warm broth into a bowl and enjoy!
