Panetteria launches country’s first frozen bakery product line
The new ready to cook variants include Curry Crunch, Oriental Surprise, Peri Peri Munch and Thyme Roll.
Panetteria recently entered the Indian frozen foods segment with the country’s first frozen bakery product line. Working in a job that requires long hours seldom leaves much time to cook one’s own meals. Thus it was a welcome sight to find a brand that offers an exciting array of delicious savoury puffs, easy to bake/air fry, and ready within minutes.
Flaky, flavorful golden puffs with scrumptious stuffing, the new ready to cook variants include Curry Crunch, Oriental Surprise, Peri Peri Munch and Thyme Roll.
We recently had the opportunity to review the Panetteria products and it did not disappoint.
All one needs to do is remove them from the freezer, place them in a convection oven/air fryer for just 18 minutes and they can have some delicious meals.
Interestingly, we also found that one can lightly fry it on a non stick to bring about the desired cooking effect as well.
Coming to the savouries itself, none of the dishes are overly spicy, each packing in a punch when it comes to flavour and what more, all the products are egg less making them a perfect treat for vegetarians.
Firstly, the Curry Crunch has a distinct Indian flavour to it, with spices that will find favour with palates that like Indian cooking, Oriental Surprise on the other hand makes use of spices that are more subtle while Peri Peri is more robust and rounded when it comes to taste.
My personal favourite, however, had to be Thyme Roll, which, as the name suggests, had a distinct aroma of Thyme wafting through the cooked puff and had that distinct taste that only Thyme lends to a dish. Very English in its flavour, the Thyme roll, in fact looks different that the other Veg puffs as well.
What is wonderful about these veg puffs, is the fact that unlike other similar products, the fillings do not seem chemical or pasty, but are dedicatedly chunky.
If you are looking for snacks that are easy to make, and pack in a punch when it comes to flavour, Panetteria’s frozen bakery product line is decidedly the option to choose.
