Sweet Corn Chaat with Peanuts Recipe
Bread Pakora Recipe
Ingredients
Bread slices 4-5
Gram flour (Besan) 1 cup
Turmeric powder 1/4th tsp
Salt to taste
Ajwain 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder to taste
Garam Masala powder 1/4th tsp
Water for batter
Oil for frying
Method
Cut bread slices into desired shapes (like triangle, rectangle etc.)
In a bowl, add gram flour salt, chilli powder, garam masala, ajwain. Mix well.
Now, by pouring little water at a time, make a smooth batter (neither too thick nor too lose.)
Heat oil in a kadai.
Dip bread pieces in the batter. Fry, on medium flame, until crisp.Serve bread pakoras hot with green chutney and tomato sauce.
Chatpata Tortilla Recipe
Ingredients
A handful of tortilla chips
Aloo bhujiya 2-3 tbsp
Corn 4-5 tbsp
Simla mirch (chopped) 3-4 tbsp
Tomatoes (chopped) 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Red chilli flakes to taste
Mustard powder to taste
Mayonnaise (egg or egg less) 2-3 tsp
Onions (chopped) 2 tsp
Method
Mix tortilla chips, aloo bhujiya and corn in a bowl. Now, add simla mirch and tomatoes. Mix well. Sprinkle salt, chilli flakes, mustard powder and mayonnaise, whisk well. Squeeze lime juice over it just before serving. Serve immediately
