Yellow eyeshadow is universally flattering. But the task to tackle Is finding the right shade to compliment your skin tone.
Yellow is here and it is time to embrace it. Yellow is easily the most ignored colour in our eyeshadow palette. Suddenly all that has changed because a shot of yellow can wake up the face faster than a concealer. Yellow eyeshadow is universally flattering. But the task to tackle Is finding the right shade to compliment your skin tone.
Here are a few ways to rock a yellow eye makeup look.
Yellow liner: Bored of black liners? Go for a yellow liner which is super versatile. Choose a thin liquid liner to create the yellow cat eye. Adding black eyeliner on your lower lash line can make the yellow liner stand out.
Wash of yellow: For a subtle understated day look, apply yellow eye shadow over your lid and blend it seamlessly with a fluffy brush to give you a wash of the colour.
Lower lash line: Simply use a yellow eye liner pencil and line your lower lashline all the way. Now blend the liner using a yellow eyeshadow for an edgy look.
Go bold: Pack the yellow eye shadow onto the lid and blend it. Top it of with a gold pigment to make the yellow eye shadow stand out. Make sure you use a white eye shadow first so that the yellow shadow is more visible
Inner corners: Be dramatic with a vivid pop of yellow on your inner corner. Pair it with a winged liner.
Make sure to choose neutral or nude shades of lipsticks keeping the rest of the look minimal with a soft dewy base and well groomed brows.
