Veena spoofs Aamir and Sallu

When it comes to staying in the news, no one seems to be quite as adept as Veena Malik. While her fellow Bigg Boss housemates have once again faded into oblivion, Ms Malik has used all the tricks up her sleeve to ensure the spotlight doesn’t stray too far from her.

So after a controversial topless magazine photo shoot, a rather suspicious missing act and her upcoming televised swayamvar, Veena is going the “superstar” route to stardom. Confused? We’ll tell you more.
Apparently, in a new item number for the satirical film Gali Gali Chor Hai, Veena has imitated both Aamir and Salman Khan in a spoof of sorts. A source connected to the film told us, “A la the Sheilas, Munnis and Chamelis, Veena too had taken up the avatar of ‘Channo’ for a sexy dance number in Gali Gali… But what’s interesting about her rendition is that she has spoofed both Khans in her act. First she flashes a Ghajini tattoo on her arms, much like Aamir in his famous role, and then she does a Bodyguard by flexing her arms in Salman’s inimitable style.”
While we wonder if Veena’s bad luck with tattoos (the topless controversy was fuelled by an ‘ISI’ tattoo the actress sported on her arm) will rub off on her Channo number, Veena herself shrugs off the suggestion. “From the styling to the costumes, the song to the choreography — everything about this song is different,” claims Veena. “I chose to do this item song because it’s a Nitin Manmohan film.”
So will Veena’s cheeky item number cause trouble for the actress? We’ll just have to wait and watch.
