Not a burden

The Bharatiya Janata Party’s prevailing concerns on the illegal migration of Bangladeshis to India borders on hysteria. India needs to understand that rampant poverty and religious extremism are Bangladesh’s bane. And, in light of these problems, those who may have immigrated without proper documents have made up for breaking the law by becoming indispensable in the unskilled work segment. Instead of considering them a burden, we should provide them amnesty and integrate them into our labour force.
